There are many houseplants that are considered poisonous to cats or dogs. However, that does not mean you have to keep your house plant free. If you cannot keep your houseplants out of the reach of your pets, or if you have a sneaky cat that climbs everywhere, here are a few plants that are considered non-toxic to pets.
A money tree plant is considered non-toxic. This plant requires bright light. Another non-toxic plant is a parlor palm. Parlor palms need bright indirect light. Spider plants are also considered pet friendly and also require bright light. Another example of a pet-friendly plant is a ponytail palm. These also require bright light but are very easy to maintain. The last non-toxic pet-friendly plant is rosemary. Rosemary requires bright light, and with it being an herb you can also enjoy using it yourself. Although the pets may like this plant a little too much.
These are just a few examples of non-toxic pet-friendly plants. Just keep in mind that even plants that are considered non-toxic may still cause your pet to get sick. If you are unsure about whether a plant is considered toxic or not for your pet, look up it online from a reliable website.
