Summer is definitely the time of barbecues and outdoor cooking. Are you all about convenience, using a gas grill, or are you a purist that prefers the taste and smell of using a charcoal grill? You will find many people on either side of that argument, but you should keep some safety tips in mind when using a grill.
One of the most obvious dangers with a grill is of course fire. Even though you might not notice it, a grill can radiate a lot of heat. Having it close to vinyl or wood siding is not recommended. Another danger is that of Carbon Monoxide poisoning. This gas is created from incompletely burned fuel, and if you have your grill in an area with poor ventilation, it could build up to dangerous, even lethal levels.
Grilling inside of a garage or shed is not recommended if you want to keep safe.
