Even though you clean your home regularly, there may be certain home objects that you are missing. Here are a few commonly used items and areas you might be forgetting to clean.

The first area is kitchen handles. If left untreated, refrigerator, freezer, and oven handles can become a breeding ground for germs and bacteria. It’s a good idea to scrub down kitchen cabinet and appliance handles down once a week, or right after touching them with messy hands.

Another item to remember to clean is your resusable shopping bags. These bags can collect stains, start to smell, and also become a breeding ground for bacteria and mold. You can wash the fabric grocery bags in your laundry machine, and just wipe down the plastic ones.

Your toothbrush holder is another item that you will want to remember to clean. Once a week you could throw the dirty toothbrush holder in the dishwasher or sterilize it by hand with hot water and soap.

These are just a few items and areas that we may forget about when cleaning. Just keep them in mind when you are doing your clean up routine to help you to keep everyone healthy.
