Have you got a bat infestation in your attic? Maybe you’re trying to put storage containers up in the attic, but every time you try to do so, the bats get anxious and uneasy and flutter around. So what can you do about it? Here are a couple of suggestions that you can use in order to once again control the air spaces in your attic.
The first thing you can do is set up a one-way excursion device on the location where the bats have been entering into the attic. Basically this device will allow any bats leaving the attic on their own free will, however, they will be unable to return into the attic because of its only a one-way contraption. Another thing that you can do is call a professional in animal control. These guys know exactly what to do in these situations, and are able to get the animals out of your attic without incident, and without injuring the animal. However, it will cost a little extra money to have a pro take the bats out.
Probably the simplest thing that you can do in order to get rid of the bats yourself is to have more attic lighting. Because bats are nocturnal, they are attracted to the dark, not so much to the light. So thus by adding more light, it would drive the bats back out the way they came.
By remembering these simple suggestions, you can continue to keep your attic and home space free of the invasive bats.
